About the role:

The Application Programmer will primarily work with the Enterprise System Analyst/Programmer to maintain and promote the effective and efficient use of the organization’s enterprise software

To do this job successfully, you should have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to complete the following responsibilities:

• Maintain the companies Dynamics accounting software.

• Update the ordering and manufacturing workflows in the enterprise software systems.

• Troubleshooting and reporting for all internal customers (such as manufacturing, customer service, sales staff, executive management, and other business units) and external customers as requested by sales staff or other management.

• Automated Reporting

• Website Reporting

• Data Integrity Reporting.

• Compile ad-hoc reports for staff.

• Work with customers to support their needs by supplying ad-hoc reports and documentation.

• Some application programing as necessary.

• Maintain and develop the company web site and intranet site as required.

• Work under the guidance and supervision of the IT Director and will perform additional tasks as directed. Will provide status reports where required.

• Degree in an IT field

• T-SQL

• SSRS

• VBA, VB.Net, VB Script, C#

• Strong documentation skills.

• Solid technical knowledge of relational databases and the ability to use T-SQL to write complex/ad hoc queries/reports with optimization/efficiency in mind.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, good analytical ability and an understanding of business operations and processes.

• Good interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels, from operational staff to senior executives.

• Self-directed, ability to be productive, effective and efficient with minimal supervision.

• Ability to simultaneously manage several tasks.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Schedule:

• Typical Monday–Friday work week with one week every 6 weeks of on call after hours (weekend coverage).
