Keymark is actively recruiting for a Software Developer / System Administrator for our Corporate Offices in Fonda, NY. This is an on location role, applicants should live within a commutable distance to the office. The annual salary compensation for this position is up to $75,000 depending on your experience and capabilities.

Must be authorized to work in the US.

About the role:

The Software Developer - System Administrator will maintain and, in some cases, develop the organization's applications and software. They will ensure that all software is up and running smoothly. In this position, you will be asked frequently for ad-hoc reporting.


A successful candidate must be a logical thinker capable of understanding and using:

• Relational databases

• Structured Query Language (SQL)

• Various reporting tools (SSRS, for example) to provide the requested information.

• You will be asked to troubleshoot software when it does not perform as the user expects and must be capable of performing a root cause analysis.

You will primarily be responsible for managing all aspects of our Microsoft Dynamics platform and associated software and is solely responsible for the onboarding and training of all Dynamics users, including related documentation.

The Software Developer - System Administrator will function as a technical expert and system administrator to all Dynamics system users and will also design, develop and customize the platform to streamline business processes.

This position will also play a critical role in the specification, design, and implementation of data integration between Dynamics and our Manufacturing Execution System platforms.

The Software Developer - System Administrator will also work closely with our Manufacturing Execution System Administrators to provide redundant coverage for those roles. And maintain and develop the company website, e-commerce site, and intranet site as required.

This position will work under the guidance and supervision of the IT Director and will perform additional tasks and provide status reports as directed. This is an on location work role at our corporate offices in Fonda, NY.


To do this job successfully, you should have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to complete the following responsibilities:

• Degree in an IT field

• T-SQL

• SSRS

• VBA, VB.Net, VB Script, C#

• Strong documentation skills.

• Solid technical knowledge of relational databases and the ability to use T-SQL to write complex/ad hoc queries/reports with optimization/efficiency in mind.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, good analytical ability, and an understanding of business operations and processes.

• Good interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels, from operational staff to senior executives.

• Self-directed, productive, effective, and efficient with minimal supervision.

• Ability to simultaneously manage several tasks.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.


Schedule:

• Typical Monday–Friday work week at the office with one week every 6 weeks of on call after hours (weekend coverage).
